Confidence Threshold

Applies if one or more exit points are configured with ASR vocabulary items. See the <ASR vocabulary item> exit point, below.

Enter a value between 0 and 100 to control how close a match is required between the caller’s spoken input and the defined words and phrases. A very low value increases the likelihood of false matches being found whilst a very high value decreases the likelihood of any match being found.

Exit Points

Exit Point

Description

<DTMF entry>

This is taken when the caller presses this DTMF key (1 - 9, *, or #). The branch is labelled according to the selected DTMF digit. Ensure that the audio file in Introduction Prompt mentions each option.

<ASR vocabulary item>

This is taken when the caller speaks one of the words or phrases in the ASR Vocabulary Items list. The branch is labelled according to the vocabulary items in the list. You add an item to this list when configuring the exit point by entering a word in the ASR Vocabulary Items field and then clicking the  button.

It is recommended that you use single words or short phrases because the route will only be taken if the match is exact. You will need to tell the caller what to say (typically in the Intro prompt). See also, the ASR Menu and Machine Agent Voice action cells for other methods of routing based on voice input.

No Response

This is taken if no response is detected after the No Response Timeout and/or Maximum Number of Attempts properties have been applied.

Error

This is taken if the media list, prompts, or both could not be located
